Mon contact primitif avec le dessin s’est établi dès l’enfance, comme un outil d’appréhension et de compréhension de mon environnement — un canal d’échange entre soi et le monde. Le dessin, abordé sous de multiples formes dans des livres, des installations, dans la performance ou la vidéo, est dans ma pratique un champ d’investigation de sa propre matérialité, capable de convoquer des mondes imaginaires.
Par ce médium, j’aspire à ouvrir des espaces où les narrations intimes se mêlent aux faits scientifiques et historiques, où l’acte de faire transforme le réel et permet à l’imaginaire d’embrasser une vérité propre : faire de la fiction un réel, et du réel une fiction.
Aujourd’hui, mes recherches interrogent le rapport aux vivants, tentant de retracer les dynamiques essentielles entre l’humain et les écosystèmes environnants. Mes séries de dessins se déploient dans des récits où figures animales, humaines, végétales et minérales — chiens, plantes, oiseaux, pierres et personnages hybrides — composent un bestiaire personnel et poétique. Par ces récits métaphoriques et symboliques, j’explore, tel un
« chercheur amateur », les liens qui unissent l’humain aux autre espèces, où se confrontent domestication et féralité. Par un décentrement du regard, cette démarche vise à (re)composer les paysages et à redonner aux aux êtres non-humains leur juste place, en rendant tangible leur présence en tant qu’être-sujets et non êtres-objets. Je tente ainsi de constituer des chemins de sensibilité sortant des cadres binaires Nature/Culture pour au travers de l’imaginaire, ouvrir un espace entre ces mondes.
Cette quête inclut un attrait pour les marges, lesquelles sont perçues comme des zones de transformation et de rupture. Ainsi permettent-elles de repenser nos rapports de pouvoir et d’inclusion dans le monde. Ce sont des espaces d’interrogation, où le dessin et son pouvoir narratif réinventent la place des vivants.

My initial encounter with drawing dates back to childhood, when it served as a means of apprehending and making sense of my environment—a channel of exchange between myself and the world. Today, drawing forms the core of my artistic practice, unfolding in diverse formats such as books, installations, performances, and videos. This versatility transforms drawing into a field of inquiry, where its materiality becomes a space for evoking imaginary worlds and exploring their intersections with reality.
Through drawing, I seek to create spaces where intimate narratives intertwine with scientific and historical facts, and where the act of making transforms our understanding of the world. This approach allows fiction to materialize as reality, and for reality to take on the qualities of fiction, opening up alternative ways of engaging with truth.
Much of my current work focuses on the relationship between humans and “the living.” I explore this through a series of drawings that weave poetic narratives, bringing together animal and human figures—dogs, plants, stone birds, and hybrid characters—into a personal bestiary. These symbolic and metaphorical stories position me as an “amateur researcher,” tracing the ties between human beings and the non-human world. My work delves into the tensions and overlaps between domestication and ferality, nature and culture, uncovering the dynamics that shape our ecosystems.
By shifting perspectives, I aim to reimagine landscapes and restore “the living” to their rightful place—not as objects of observation, but as active, vibrant presences. My research is drawn to the margins, understood as zones of transformation and rupture, where power dynamics and relationships with the world can be interrogated and reconfigured. Within these spaces, drawing becomes a tool for envisioning new connections and for rethinking the place of the living within our shared imaginaries.
